Drupal Job Board

The Global Oneness Project is a web-based video project, which features fast growing collection of short films and interviews with people all over the world, freely available to watch and download (all of our content is licensed under Creative Commons). Our mission is to inspire dialogue about new ways of working and living in our interconnected world though film. We are interested in working with people who are committed to the principles of open source.

We are currently looking for an individual freelance drupal developer or team to help us build our new web site in drupal. The site is a catalogue of over 130 short films and interviews, listed alphabetically. We want to make the site much more dynamic and interactive by adding the following functionality:

* Search (by name, country, keyword, etc)
* Tags, descriptions and categories for each video --
* Related media for each video
* Ability to create a custom playlist

We also want to add a community element to the site, beginning by allowing our users to:

* create user profiles
* comment on a video
* ability join or start a conversation about the film/theme

In addition, we need to have a robust Content Management System which allows us to easily add new videos or modify existing ones without having to know any coding languages.

We are looking for an individual or team who can provide us with a) initial drupal consultation (tell us what's possible with drupal!), 2) project management from start to finish and 3) development. We have a clear idea of what we want, we just want to know the fastest, most streamlined way to build it. We have a team of web-savvy in-house designers and an established look + feel, so no design skills are needed (only the ability to seamlessly convert our Illustrator compositions into themes). Your combined skills must include:

* Solid Drupal Themeing expertise
* Solid Drupal Implementation expertise
* Experience with SEO
* Strong knowledge of Linux, PHP, mySQL, AJAX, XHTML, CSS
* Detail-oriented project management skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Excited about video on the web
