Drupal Developer & Administrator
Summary
Ruckus Network is looking for a full-time Drupal developer and administrator to support the day-to-day functionality of the content management system (CMS), information flow and content maintenance on Ruckus internal and external Internet sites. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Drupal deployments, phptemplate themes, advanced CSS and custom Drupal module installment and development. The candidate should also be well versed in software development methods including version control, testing and deployment processes.
Functions
• Managing all aspects of the content publication process, workflow administration, template integration, data services, plugin support.
• Working with marketing and editorial product managers to identify new content requirements as necessary to deliver dynamic content.
• Training and supporting editorial and marketing team managers to execute their own edits.
• Reviewing materials for accuracy, peer review, and usability to ensure the quality and integrity of each document published.
• Prioritizing and scheduling content updates.
• Adhering to pre-established site structure and style guides.
• Ensuring linked information resources are kept relevant.
• Ensuring the metadata standards as specified are implemented in all applications and content.
• Providing feedback to improve internal communications, procedures, and software usability.
• Ability to use source control systems.
• Make common Unix/Linux command line tools, editors, SSH, debuggers, etc.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of professional information management and/or software development.
• Unix/Linux Platforms
• PHP, Javascript, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX
• Drupal, , AMFPHP, XMLRPC, SOAP
• Understanding of best practices in web usability and design.
• Experience with web server management and security issues.
• Ability to create and maintain user accounts, permissions, roles, and groups.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
• Comfortable training, troubleshooting, and supporting web designers, administrators, and site visitors on the CMS.
