Drupal Job Board

We have a current site that was poorly project managed by someone that did not know Drupal very well. We are putting together a site plan, but in the interim need an experienced Drupal guy who understands design and CSS to work with our database experts and the current programmers to rebuild the site.

We need a quote on an hourly rate and will need the developer to sign a work-for-hire agreement as the last groups has taken us for a ride. We are willing to hire other programmers to get this done.

Discussion will begin after we have been given a list of sites the developer has built. Major points for sites that are search engine optimized, built for viral marketing (RSS/Podcasts/Social Networking Plugins, etc) and well built for video.

There will be several phases of this project and good solid work for at least two months, if not a permanent consulting or maintenance contract. Developer must be willing to train content editors on updating the site and exhibit the spirit of the open source community.

PS: one of our favorite sites is TheOnion.com, which we understand is a Drupal site. That said, we are cynical of Drupal thanks to the job the previous developers did.
