Looking for a Drupal Smarty CSS Theme Developer preferrably in the Los Angeles Area to work with team of local developers. Need someone who can dazzle us with their CSS magic for large scale projects for A-List clients in the Entertainment Industry.

The key responsibilities of this position are as follows:

• Hands-on, front-end coding of websites using Smarty Templating Engine for Drupal 4.7
• Creation of XHTML email templates
• Ability to QA own and others’ work for code validity and layout consistency of look across multiple browsers & email clients
• Slice and optimize images
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in design & coding of high-traffic websites, Content Management Systems, and web-based software
• Solid Standards Compliant XHTML and Expert CSS skills with the ability to debug/solve cross-browser issues.
• Smarty Theming template language
• Understanding of CMS, Drupal 4.7,JavaScript & PHP.
• Ability to work with table-less designs.
• Solid layout and typographical instincts
• Good UI design skills
• Good IA knowledge & practices
• Proven ability to slice and optimize images using Adobe CS Suite or Similar Suite
• Must be focused and obtain an excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working in fast paced environment
• Local candidates only.

• Experience with e-commerce websites a plus
• Experience with Subversion a plus
