We are looking for an experienced Drupal consultant to work with us on an exciting project. We are a growing company based in Brooklyn in NYC. There is significant opportunity to work on many projects.

We are looking for someone with experience in Drupal on many projects, who can ramp up quickly and work on an existing project with other developers.

Role Description
- Very strong exposure to technology/language environments under LAMP (PHP 4/5, Apache, MySQL, Linux)
- More than 10 years of experience overall with at least 3-4 years managing software product teams preferably medium to large teams (more than 10 people)
- Very good Project Management skills
- Very good understanding of various development methodologies/processes preferably agile
- Strong design and development (programming) skills
- Exposure to Databases and good understanding of performance and scalability related aspects
Operational:
- Should have managed at least 2 end-to-end release lifecycles of medium to large scale products
Soft Skills:
- Very good experience with creating requirement and functional specifications such as PRD – Mandatory

Other:
- Prior on-site Experience: Preferable
- Relevant Exposure: Experience working with startups and bigger organizations would tremendously help

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coding: Most of your time will be spent developing code. Our application relies heavily on Drupal and its APIs and toolsets. You will be working on a large Drupal multi-site application that uses over 100 modules and has over 100,000 lines of custom code.
• Technical Decisions: You will be expected to help drive the direction of development for our application and the general technical direction of the company. You will be expected to make and suggest decisions regarding your code and others.
• Cooperating: We are a team environment, and cooperation and communication are a must. You will be working with other developers, and testers. You will be expected to be well versed with what others are doing and be available to divert your efforts to help others when the need arises.
• Growing: Last but not least, we expect you to move up. We are a young company with a small workforce. The lines of responsibility are often blurred, and all of our staff are encouraged to try things that may be outside their normal areas of expertise.

Web Software Engineer - Web Developer | PHP/LAMP/Open Source

We are looking for a solid PHP Web Developer to join our team to work with cool clients. You'll be developing Object-Oriented LAMP-based websites/applications which incorporate designs from our creative team and apply Web 2.0 techniques. Working closely with a lead project engineer, you will be expected to design, architect, and execute projects from start to finish. Work includes scope definition, writing documentation, drafting wireframes, fielding technical questions from clients, engineering solutions to meet specific milestones and deadlines, programming of web applications and associated database queries.

In addition to looking for someone to join our Denver team, we have immediate Drupal projects and will consider experienced independent contractors, local preferred.
